Child Support Agency figures show that nearly one in five of the contested paternity claims it handled last year cleared the man originally named as the father.
"But, according to the CSA, there has not been a single prosecution of a mother for making a false claim."

Another article that mysteriously remains on '0' comments.
It might remain 0 on comments because any would-be responses have been said before. Either way, I'm glad Darren and others are still posting the reports. It's still worth keeping them coming in.
Maybe we need more men to join this blog. Newcomers would probably welcome seeing old discussions.
I was thinking along the same lines myself. New blood might be exactly what's required to keep the blog going. However, it might be a mistake to open the floodgates to too many people.
I personally comment on almost every single article that's posted here, even if it's only one sentence. It's important to focus our fire in the same direction.
However, it might be a mistake to open the floodgates to too many people.
On the other hand, the bigger our number, the more strength we'll have as a group. We could, of course, restrict entry only to people who believe in Men's Rights as a goal.
Above all, we mustn't become elitist.
Some Ideas
1. The regulars of MGTOW might make a good addition.
2. More discussion amongst ourselves centred around topics that might be found in books or videos (in addition to newspapers as we are doing).
3. We need some clearly defined goals, expressed positively. Currently, we seem only to have the abolition of feminist doctrine from government policy and feminist propaganda from media emissions. And these are expressed negatively.
The space we already have for commenting on newspaper articles is GREAT. But we need more for covering other areas such as these I've outlined -- and any others anyone else can think of.
I always visit and read the articles frequently but seldom post a comment. Mainly because there is little can add. Do I feel these blogs are worth it? Yes, I do. It has certainly opened my eyes and made me question a lot more as well as being armed to challenge feminism and their points of view.
Thanks for your words Mariner. It's actually good to know that more people are reading this than those writing.
Using the Internet as we've done over the last few years has been worthwhile. It's made an enormous difference. Outcome? People are now criticising feminism. They weren't 5 years ago. Julie Bindel now routinely gets ripped apart, by men and women alike.
But now we need to take this further. We need a sense of direction in the form of clearly defined goals. We have none other than the "abolition of feminism".
For this (and this alone) we might need a confidential site specifically for this purpose, with retricted access -- a "safe area", as it were -- where we can throw down our thoughts in the confidence knowing that there are no nosey feministers lurking in the background.
Some men may feel we don't need this. I'll go with whatever others feel.
Anything else we do, of course, should remain for the whole world to see.
