Since this argument can not be stopped it is better that it should be repeated over and over again. In that way it will become increasingly ludicrous like some meaningless slogan that the masses are meant to chant.

Do supposedly intelligent people like newspaper journalists and politicians really not understand the social and economic arguments behind why the pay gap is false (even if the average over everyone shows a difference)?
