White, middle-class men are discriminated against in the BBC claims Jeremy Paxman.

Tell us something we didn't know!

This is a fairly biased article by the Times but it's refreshing to see men beginning to complain.

A major step forward. I've never known this to happen before save in minor items of news with Michael Buerk and Patrick Moore.

And the usual suspects are complaining. (Note. For "fighting back", read "panicking".)

Let's have more talented people in our media. This means more MEN not blinded by political correctness. It means fewer spoilt manipulative women. And it means fewer feminised men pandering to them for the rewards they hope they'll reap behind the scenes.

My comment reached there.

I also note that the Guardian didn't even have an article on this. Wonder why? I suggest suggesting it to the Guardian by posting into their suggestion box.

So good......

My comment reached there as well.

It's good to see a fair number of comments, mostly in support of Mr Paxman.

Hurrah!

I have to be honest here. I had Paxo wrong for a long time. I thought he was entirely politically correct like his other male colleagues at the BBC (and ITV).

I'm delighted he's "one of us" and hope there are other prominent figures in the media who are also sick and tired of the antics of the PC establishment, who are also willing to speak out.

Radio-4 did a (designed-to-fail) men's hour broadcast and they chose Jeremy Paxman to host it. I remember thinking at the time how inappropriate he was to represent men's issues. Perhaps I was wrong?

Paxman has always been fairly PC, but I have often seen him roll his eyes at the suggestion that women have it worse in some way.

And over the years he has grown less PC the more that he has seen what PC actually means.

He is also concerned about excessive immigration.

But people like Paxman at the BBC are supposed to be impartial - and so it is very difficult for him to speak out; though, of course, the man-hating feminists like Kirsty Walk can get away with saying whatever they like.

It appears that it's Paxman who's changed. (Who knows, maybe he tunes into Harry's site once in a while! Or maybe he's had a beer with Michael Buerk.)

And if Paxman has changed, maybe there are others as well.
